VersaTrap® Cassettes Most Effective at Determining Mold Contamination
SKC VersaTrap® Spore Trap Cassettes are specifically designed for rapid collection and analysis of mold spores and many other IAQ contaminants. They are highly suitable for flood restoration and are small enough for sampling in HVAC ducts, wall cavities, plenums, and other confined areas.
What you Need for Easy, Accurate Sampling of Airborne Mold Spores
- Place cassette on pump inlet or connect to pump via
tubing or wand
- Calibrate pump to a flow rate between 5 and 30 L/min
- Take quick samples in contaminated area and samples from
outdoors
- Send samples and blanks to laboratory for
analysis

What you Need for Easy, Accurate Sampling of Mold in Wall Cavities
- Calibrate pump to 15 L/min
- Drill hole in wall
- Insert adapter into hole
- Connect cassette and vacuum dust for 10 seconds
- Replace with new VersaTrap® Cassette
- Sample for 2 minutes
- Send cassette to laboratory for analysis
